AvoSnooker Privacy Policy
The short version
AvoSnooker plays offline, and your Tour progress lives on your device. To play people online it creates an anonymous player account on our own server. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads in the current version, and we use no third-party analytics or tracking.
Data stored on your device
Your progress (Tour stars, cues, Chalk and Pips, settings, statistics) is saved in a file on your device. It is removed when you uninstall the game, unless you use cloud save.
Your online player account
When the game starts it signs in to the AvoSnooker server with a random install ID that the app creates. No email, phone number or real name is required. The server stores:
- the player name, avatar and optional country you choose in the game;
- your online Chalk balance, rating, ranked tier, friends and match history (scores, shots and results of online matches);
- your cloud save, if you turn it on;
- purchase receipts, so a purchase is credited once and can be restored;
- technical logs (IP address, app version, connection times) kept for security and fault finding.
Your player name, avatar, country, rating and results are visible to other players in matches and on leaderboards.
If you link Sign in with Apple or Google Play Games, we receive the account identifier that service gives us so you can recover your account on a new device. We do not receive your password.
Where the data is kept
The server runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States (us-east-1). Data is sent over encrypted connections.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a receipt confirming what was bought, never your payment details.
Deleting your data
You can delete your data from Settings → Account & cloud save → Delete my data. This clears the game on your device and removes your profile, balances, match history and cloud save from our server within 30 days. Uninstalling the game removes the data on your device.
Children
AvoSnooker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Online chat is limited to preset phrases and table taps.
Changes to this policy
If we change how AvoSnooker handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
