Arcade · Puzzle

Upside-down Tetris, fired from a bow.

Shards climb instead of falling. Aim along the floor, pull the bowstring back, and let go — the harder you pull, the faster it flies. Stack them against the ceiling, clear a row, and everything above floats up.

How we build

Three rules we don't break.

One finger

Drag, tap, release — that's the whole vocabulary. Built for a thumb on a moving train, not a mouse on a desk.

No accounts

You open it and it starts. Nothing to sign into, nothing to skip, no ad between you and the next run.

71 KB

The entire BowStack build. It loads on a tunnel connection and keeps working after the signal drops.

The studio

Small games, finished.

ArcadeOnToast is an independent game studio founded by Mate Bersenadze, building arcade games for Android and iOS — the kind you learn in ten seconds and keep coming back to for months.

Every game is written by hand in plain HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript, then wrapped for the stores. That's why they're a few dozen kilobytes instead of a few dozen megabytes, why they open instantly, and why they still work when your train goes underground.

Mate Bersenadze

Mate founded ArcadeOnToast to make arcade games small enough to finish before your stop. He designs, builds and ships every title himself — BowStack, the studio's first release, is 71 KB of hand-written HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript.
