A rebuild of a 2009 online team test. Each player solves quick memory, timing and spatial puzzles in their own corner of the screen, and every solved puzzle feeds health to the next teammate. Every minute or so the whole team has to click numbered circles in order, together. Connect to a random team, or create your own and send the link to friends.

Commuting time is short, interrupted, and usually one-handed. Our games are built around those constraints instead of fighting them. A round of BowStack runs a couple of minutes, so being interrupted costs you a round rather than an evening. The entire game is 71 KB, so it opens before your train pulls out. And it keeps running when the signal drops in a tunnel, because everything is cached on your device after the first load.
BowStack has no daily streak to protect, no energy meter refilling while you are not looking, and nothing queued between you and the next round. Take your phone out, play, put it away.

ArcadeOnToast is an independent game studio founded by Mate Bersenadze, building arcade games for iPhone, Android and the browser: the kind you learn in ten seconds and can pick up again months later without relearning anything.
The arcade games are written by hand in plain HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript, then wrapped for the stores. That's why they're a few dozen kilobytes instead of a few dozen megabytes, why they open instantly, and why they still work when your train goes underground. AvoSnooker, the studio's first full 3D game, is built in Unity so the balls roll like real snooker.
Mate founded ArcadeOnToast to make arcade games small enough to finish before your stop. He designs, builds and ships every title himself. BowStack, the studio's first release, is 71 KB of hand-written HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript.

Mate Bersenadze, working solo. BowStack is hand-written in HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript with no game engine underneath, which is why it is measured in kilobytes rather than megabytes. AvoSnooker is built in Unity for real 3D snooker physics.
BowStack is free to play in your browser and a free download on the App Store, with Google Play coming soon. AvoSnooker will be free to play on iPhone and Android, with optional in-app purchases. None of our games show ads.
Not for BowStack: there is no login and no cloud sync, your scores stay on your own device, and nothing is sent to a server. AvoSnooker plays offline without any account. For online play it makes a guest account for you automatically, and you can link Sign in with Apple or Google Play Games if you want to keep your progress across phones.
